Vroom Vroom
1st: must not step on the accelerator twice. Just step it once and depress it gradually.
2nd: must rmb to check blind spot.
Minor to major(left turn) = stop. look right, left (opp de traffic)
No traffic = look at left blind spot/left mirror, then look back in the direction that car is coming toward you (right) & start to turn left.
Got traffic = look at where last vehicle is, in meantime look right, then when last vehicle go past the last arrow = time to look at left blind spot/left mirror and turn left.
Minor to Major (right turn) = stop. Look left first then right
No traffic = look at right blind spot/right mirror(no cars = can turn right), check left side again before turning.
Got traffic = same as minor to major (left turn)
Major to Minor (right turn) = stop the car near the centre line, then stop when at 1/2 to 1 of the opp lane.
Check car approaching from left, then check right blind spot and turn, looking at the traffic in front.
3rd: Remember to check rear view mirror, Every 5-10 seconds Whenever I step on the break Whenever I wanna turn/change lane
4th: Remember to slow down to appropriate speed before hump, then rest the foot on the break BUT DONT DEPRESS IT, after passing over the hump then accelerate 5th: look at opp de traffic light to determine when to move off. 6th: MUST MOVE YOUR HEAD WHEN LOOKING AT REAR MIRROR/CHECKING BLIND SPOT. So that the tester can see that I got look at the mirrors. 7th: S-Course, dont need turn the steering wheel fully. 1 Full, 1 full + 1/4 or 1/2 must slant the car according to the kerb. Anyway can book the after final theory leh!! Don't need wait for 5.1 stage.

Vroom vroom~ Had my first driving lesson the other day with meiyen. Woohoo! Driving a car was really fun, like a dream come true? Hehehe Was driving around in circles, cos' the instructor was trying to teach me how to drive through bends. I guess I'm okay? Cos' he commented that I was pretty stable, even asked if I had driven a car before. LOLOL Other than that he also taught me about the various parts of the car, how to change a tyre, how to check air pressure of the tyre, the steps that you need to do before driving off - adjust height of the seat, the distance of the seat from steering wheel, adjust the back and then lastly the side mirror and rear view mirror. Funny he didn't teach me about turning on and off the engine. Hahaha Can't wait for the next lesson next week! Labels: driving Tuesday, November 12, 2013
Zum-the-ba Just finished the Zumba session with meiyen! RuiLing couldn't make it today. Today session seems to be more tedious, my legs are aching now hahaha. Anyway, had fun time singing on Sunday with Christina, Weiyang, RuiLing and meiyen. The system used at junction 10 seems to be better, especially the function whereby we can see how much marks we can get for the song we sang. =p Tomorrow's the first practical lesson for my driving.
